FLUX 3 Image Klein

FLUX 3 Image Klein is the compact, open-weights version of FLUX 3 Image from Black Forest Labs, released on October 15, 2026. At 5.6 billion parameters it keeps text to image, editing, up to ten reference images, bounding boxes and up to 4K output, and it runs on a single consumer GPU. GoEnhance does not offer FLUX 3 Image Klein yet. The creation console below uses GoEnhance 2.0 Lite, our own lightweight image model, which is free to try.

What FLUX 3 Image Klein Brings

Frontier Features in an Open-Weights Model

Klein is a 5.6B-parameter version of FLUX 3 Image with open weights on Hugging Face. Black Forest Labs says it runs on a single consumer GPU, down to an RTX 3090, and reports about 4 seconds per 1024×1024 image on an RTX 5090 with the INT8 build. FP8, NVFP4 and INT8 versions cut memory further. The diorama shown here is an illustration, not a Klein output.

Same Controls as FLUX 3 Image

Klein takes the same request as FLUX 3 Image: a prompt, up to ten reference images, an aspect ratio, a resolution from 768sq to 4K, and the same bounding-box format for placing a headline, a product or each panel of a layout. The travel poster shown here is an illustration of a type-led design.

Edits from a Plain Instruction

Write the change as an instruction, such as turning an autumn cabin into a snowy winter night, and keep the rest of the scene in place. Klein also composes new images from several references. The before-and-after shown here is an illustration made with GoEnhance's image tools. On GoEnhance today, GoEnhance 2.0 Lite edits with up to 5 reference images.

Built to Be Fine-Tuned

Klein comes in two variants. Klein (Distilled) runs 16 steps for fast results. Klein Base runs 50 steps and is the one to fine-tune: train a LoRA on your own style, product or character, and it loads into the distilled model too. The fashion editorial shown here is an illustration.

FLUX 3 Image Klein is a 5.6B-parameter, open-weights version of FLUX 3 Image from Black Forest Labs. It supports the same features as the full model: text to image, image editing, up to ten reference images, bounding boxes and output up to 4K.

When was FLUX 3 Image Klein released?

Black Forest Labs released FLUX 3 Image Klein on October 15, 2026, two weeks after FLUX 3 Image.

Is FLUX 3 Image Klein free to use commercially?

The weights are published under the FLUX Kommunity License. According to reports, it allows free commercial use for individuals and businesses with annual revenue under $5 million; larger organizations need a separate agreement or can use the paid API.

Black Forest Labs says Klein runs on consumer GPUs down to an RTX 3090, and reports say quantized builds work with about 8 GB of video memory. It works with Diffusers and ComfyUI.

What is the difference between Klein and Klein Base?

Klein (Distilled) runs 16 steps at CFG 1 for fast generation. Klein Base runs 50 steps at CFG 3.5 and is meant for fine-tuning and LoRA training; a LoRA trained on Base also loads into the distilled model.

How does Klein differ from FLUX 3 Image?

Klein has the same request format and features but is much smaller, has open weights and costs far less on the API: $0.008 to $0.036 per image versus $0.041 to $0.607 for FLUX 3 Image.

Can I use FLUX 3 Image Klein on GoEnhance?

Not yet. The console on this page uses GoEnhance 2.0 Lite, our own lightweight image model. It costs 6 tokens per image at 1K and 12 at 2K, works on the free plan, supports transparent PNG backgrounds and edits with up to 5 reference images. We will update this page when Klein is added.
