How do I remove the Gemini watermark from an image?

Upload the image to the Gemini Watermark Remover above. The AI finds the sparkle in the corner, removes it and redraws the background, and you download the result, usually within 1 to 3 minutes.

Can I stop Gemini from adding the watermark?

For new images, yes, in most regions. According to Google's Gemini Apps Help, go to gemini.google.com, open Settings, then Media Watermark, and turn it off. In India, South Korea and Vietnam the setting needs a Google AI Ultra subscription. Images you already created keep the sparkle, which is what this tool is for.

Does this remove SynthID?

No. Google embeds an invisible SynthID watermark and Content Credentials in Gemini images, and those are separate from the visible sparkle. This tool removes only the visible mark; the image can still be identified as AI-generated.

Does it work on Nano Banana images?

Yes. Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro are Gemini's image models, and their images carry the same sparkle.

Why not just crop the corner?

Cropping works, but you lose part of the picture and change its aspect ratio. Removing the sparkle keeps the full frame.

Is it free?

Each image costs 4 tokens, whatever its size. New accounts get free tokens when they sign up, so you can try it before paying. GoEnhance does not add its own watermark to the result.

Is it allowed to remove the Gemini watermark?

Google lets you turn the visible watermark off for new images in most regions, and SynthID stays in the file either way. If you share AI images, be open about how they were made, and follow the rules of the platform you post on.
